This morning I checked my world race account and while I still have more money to raise before I reach the deadline I am blown away by the generosity by my friends, family, and even complete strangers.

I have seen friends of friends give. I have seen multiple generous anonymous donations. I have seen my team and squad share, ask, and work for me to stay on the field. I have raised $11,800 $14,525 so far which is completely insane.

All of this completely.

blows.

me.

away.

While fundraising has been one of the biggest headaches on the race it is completely mind blowing to see a group of people rally behind me so that I can be in a 11 different countries bearing the name of Jesus. What I am trying to say is THANK YOU!

Thank you to my parents who have prayed and shared about what I am doing for the 9 months leading up to the race until now.

Thank you to my friends from Illinois who have seen me in my awkward junior high stage and still believed enough in me to help send me to the nations.

Thank you to my family for caring enough to ask what I needed prayer for and donating with the first wave of support letters I sent as I prepared to leave.

Thank you to my friends from college who even with their limited student budgets found a way to give what they could to save me from being sent home. Thank you for all your “likes”, “shares”, RT and comments.

Thank you to my co-workers from Nashville who without even knowing me long term encouraged me to do this crazy thing and gave what they could.

Thank you to Katie Smith who celebrated my acceptance to the Race and listened to my fears as I prepared to leave. I can’t imagine my race without my Buff.

Thank you to Danni and Hope (and my other parents) who were the first to give. You have all always believed in me and have always been the first to support me in everything I choose to do. (Get ready for law school next!)

Thank you to Sara and Sterling for praying that ants and monsters don’t get inside my tent every night. So far so good!

And ultimately thank you to my glorious and incredibly big God who has brought me places I never even imagined. I trust that you will provide the funds through your church and that you have even bigger plans for the next 5 months and forever after that.
