Did I get your attention? Good because I really need your help. I have until March 1st to raise another $6,500 $3,950 $3,660 more but rather than be overwhelmed and discouraged I am going to fight even harder to stay on the race. I have created an event on facebook to help get the word out about my plight that you can share with your friends from facebook as well. I need 130 79 73 people to donate $50 by March 1st.

One of two things will happen. One, I'll go home because I didn't raise the money or two, I'll go to India, Ukraine, Romania, Nicaragua, Honduras, Costa Rica/Panama and see what God has prepared for me there.

I’ll be honest, my first 5 months on the race has been a complete whirlwind of excitement, confusion, chaos, tears, sweat, dirt, friendships, travel, languages, currencies, and prayer. Lots and lots of prayer. Seriously, here's a painfully brief overview of my first 5 months.

We helped serve food in the local feeding program that ran through the preschool. Since we went everday we could establish some relationships and invite them to Pastor Jeffery's church on Sundays.

Here's maybe 20% of the painting Alex and I did while we were in China for the non-walkers of Eagles Wings. I wanted to paint more on the ceiling since that was what the kids looked at all day so we painted 4 trees on the ceiling with the 4 seasons on them. I added this night sky to the side the kids slept on.

We have fallen in love with children all over Africa and now in Asia that have been oppressed, abused, forgotten, or isolated. Most of the time they teach us much more than we could ever teach them. In Swaziland these kids taught me how to pick and eat mangos. Some of us even learned a new sport, Netball.

In month 4 we celebrated Christmas in a closed country and brought smiles and presents to orphans with special needs. Yea, we might have dressed up as Santa. Never saw that coming….

In month one we took the Jesus film to a village in Zimbabwe where we saw over 30 people surrender their lives to Jesus.

We have preached and taught in 5 countries sharing about God's goodness from the word and from our lives. We have used countless translaters and countless hand motions to be understood in hot church buildings, hospitals, campus ministries, and houses.

We also helped fight forrest fires in South Africa. Who knew?

I can’t even begin to imagine the kinds of things God has in store for me the next 7 months of the race but I desperately want to find out. Please partner with me on so that I can finish this journey.

Believe on my behalf when my faith is weak.

Share on my behalf when my internet is scarce.

Pray on my behalf when I've run out of words.

Please please please pray, like really, truly pray that God provides in big ways within the next month.

But God has put the body together,
giving greater honor to the parts that lacked it,
so that there should be no division in the body,
but that its parts should have equal concern for each other.
If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored,
every part rejoices with it.
Now you are the body of Christ,
and each one of you is part of it.
