Shahrazad, One thousand and one Nights. Narnia. Black. A really good story captures your imagination. The colors, spices, and sounds of that other world weave a cord that draws you into the moment.

Description alone, however, is not satisfying. the story also needs to have a plot; one that stirs something inside, one that has an overarching theme of good triumphing over evil.
We crave good stories.
Adventure stories. Underdog stories. The funny thing is,

although we crave these stories, we- I strive for a comfy life.
no obstacles.
nothing I am not sure I can handle on my own.
But what kind of story is that?
the thing is, you make a story with every movement, every breath. Am I going to settle for a story that is skip-able? To live a good story (even on WR) you have to make the decision every day to show up for the story. To say yes to Gods story. To choose to engage every day.
One more thing I need to do. Tell it.
Tell it for my self- so I can get a better idea of the larger themes in play.
Tell it for others to entertain and uplift them, to invite them into my story.
And tell it for God. Because he is glorified by people being in awe of him. worshiping him, proclaiming that he is alive and active.
So here it goes. It will be as awkward as a baby giraffe : p and way less focused! But I am going to begin sharing, as well as living, a good story,
my story.
