As I sit her and and think about what about what to write, I find my self asking this question.
How can I raise this last 1,000 dollars?
Now in my spatular world of fundraising, there is always the positive thinker, I like to call her Positive Polly. Polly is not only chipper and ridiculously positive all the time, she also brings an element to fundraising that I didn’t know existed. Her slogan is usually, In christ all things are Possible!
Or God will provide!
Or hang in there girlfriend, God has a plan!
all true things, yes. But Polly, now that we have raised a little over 24,000 dollars in the last year alone… what do you suggest we do now?!
Friends, We have not only impacted lives all across america, but have also raised a significant amount of money to make it all possible. Not me, But WE! so here we are, Polly too! We have already hit third bace with the brute of our shoe and are running full speed for the slide into home. I don’t have any ideas, no more fundraisers to do, no more letters to write, no more calls to make. But that number still haunts me. 1,000!
Why is it that, after all this time and effort I cant seem to get over the last hump. I cant get people to catch the vision. Maybe its because I did a poor job of promoting this Journey while I was home in December. Maybe its because I don’t have many supporters who are backing my choice as a missionary. Maybe its because I am not trusting God enough with my finances enough. I DONT KNOW. but what i do know is i need Help.
Positive Polly speaks the truth when she says God will provide, but I have to do my part too, right? i have to continually put my self out there, and speak of behalf of young women who don’t have a voice. i have to shair my heart and the vision… but how, when i have fundraisers block?
I have officially hit a brick wall.

{As you also know I am in the final stages of my fundraising efforts here in Thailand. Only needing to raise 1,000 dollars to be fully funded.
