The next step
Who: I Olivia Hess want to invite you to be apart of the next chapter of this crazy journey I like to call “Life in Christ”.
What: it’s called Kingdom Journey’s. It’s a group of driven and capable young women on a mission to proclaim freedom to their sisters around the world who have found themselves captive – they will serve as a voice for the voiceless. The Kingdom Journeys women will bring their diverse skill sets and gifting’s to come alongside organizations around the world who are empowering women; all while gleaning wisdom and insight from radical, spirit-led women who have been successful at initiating incredible organizations and building kingdom in all sorts of innovative ways.
When: I will leave my home town of Spokane Washington in January of 2015 for a 1 month training in Gainesville Georgia home of the Adventures in missions headquarters. The over all trip is 6 months on the field visiting each of the 3 countries for 2 months at a time with the addition of the 1 month training period taking place in January. That will bring me home summer of 2015 God willing.
Where: After training with AIM in Gainesville, I will travel to Guatemala, Thailand and to the Philippians.
Why: I believe that I was called to give another year to The Lord. I knew that It was going to cost me comfort , and patient waiting. But I still said yes to the call. Kingdom Journeys wasn’t on my list of “after the race ideas” But the moment I learned about it I knew Christ was calling me. After lots of prayer and conformations I decided to apply with the prayer that “If” this is truly what God wanted then he would open the doors. You see, Kingdom Journeys typically only invites you to join if your 25 years or older. I didn’t know that when I applied seeing as I’m hardly 23, but learned that through the interview proses. Had I known before , I would have never applied. However, God made sure I would apply. After multiple conversations, interviews and Skype calls over the last 6 weeks, I have officially been excepted onto KJW2! I’m not sure what this next season holds but it IS Christ ordained and I know that I have to GO! My testimony no longer is my own but it belongs to the King of Kings. And if he wants to use me to bring healing and love to the hearts of women all over the world, then I say YES!
How: if you would like to know how you can help, I’ll tell you! I need financial supporters and I need prayer supporters!
Financial supporters: Please go to my personal blog at www.oliviahess.theworldrace.org find the “support me” tab on the left hand side of the screen and follow the directions. There you can give monthly donations, quarterly donations and “one time”donations! At this point I need 2,500.00 to launch in January and an additional 212.00 to finish paying off my 500.00 deposit to secure my spot on the team! The other option is to send in a check made out to adventures in missions with Kingdom Journeys 2 and my name in the momo line.

Prayer supporters: I would like to ask you to join my prayer group either by Facebook or e-mail. What ever works for you! I will ask you to commit to no less than 15 minutes one day a week of prayer for my team, my ministry and personal prayer. I will send you weekly updates of how you can be praying for each individual category and once you have let me know your committed I will assign you one day a week that you can pray! Thank you for being apart of the call!
