A little something I found today when going through some notes. Just a thought that came to mind in Bolivia. Dads, be encouraged!!!

My father abandon me when I was born and left me with my 17 year old mother. My mother worked hard to make sure I was well taken care of and that I had all the things I needed as a child. She cleaned and cooked helped me with school, she worked all day to provide money so we could live, she gave up her child good dreams and desires so that I would have a good meaningful life. My mom often took on a role that was never meant for her, the role of my farther. My mom tried all she could to be all that I needed but as I grew she soon realized that she could no longer take on that fatherly role. Christ never meant for my mom to take on the role my father was meant to play in my life. The lack of his presents created a large void in my heart, causing me to seek out love that God intended to be from him, in someone else. I desired love and affection, and found it in a relationship, rather than in a deep bond with the man god intended. My father. You see, when god created man, he created him in his own image, you are an earthly representation of father God in your child’s life. you have to ability to Speke wisdom into your child’s life, to teach them to follow you hole heartedly as you follow after Christ. you have the influence to teach them how to have Christlike judgment, and you are called by God to bring them up with the discipline and instruction that comes from The Lord. He calls you fathers to tenderly love your children and to guard their hearts. Christ has intrusted you with a key that will lead your children into a successful walk with him as they grow and mature into men and women of God. Its a big job, don’t take it lightly, for they too are people of God.
