In a couple of months i will be going on the trip of a lifetime. Although I am extremely excited to see where God will take me, I am also worried about all the preparations leading up to the trip. Constantly I find myself trying to do things on my own and all it does is stress me out even more. Instead of trusting that God has got everything under control, I try to take control.
God has been speaking and whenever I slow down long enough to listen to what he has to say its the same thing, “Peace, be still, I’ve got you.” “Be still and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.” Psalm 46:10 In doing this I have been able to rest more securely in my Savior because I know that no matter what, everything I do is in the hands of God. “And now, my daughter, fear not; I will do to thee all that thou requirest: for all the city of my people doth know that thou art a virtuous woman.” Ruth 3:11
