Psalm 136:4 Only God works great miracles.
God’s love never fails.
Near the end, I remember having an image of a
male with a blue shirt, dark jeans, and long, dark colored hair. My first thought was that I needed to pray for someone who fit that description. It was also my first ATL (ask the lord), and I didn’t know what to expect. At the time, I was a doubtful person and had very little faith in God and what he could do. When we went to the mall, I shared this “vision (at the time, I was unsure if it was a vision or just a fabricated image from my mind) with my leader Lisa after seeing a young male who fit the description. I didn’t know what to do! I prayed to the lord asking for him to send that man to me again if it was truly him. I never saw the same guy again. I continued seeing people who fit the description, but never twice. I was just so confused.
By then, a man in his late 60’s had stopped us and had spoken to us a lot about his life and how God had worked in him. He knew the ministry we were working with, and he knew about some of the people we had already met. The whole time, I was caught up in my confusion with the “vision. Later, I noticed that Yogie, the man we were talking to, was wearing dark jeans, a blue shirt, and long, black hair. When I realized that, I was completely blown away, and I felt something little inside me blossom a bit. God had sent me that vision (no longer in quotations because it was truly sent by God) to show me what he could do. Yogie spoke to us for about 2 hours about the gospel. I learned so much. My faith was what had blossomed. It grew immensely from experiencing the vision and Yogie’s conversation. I still, to this day, think that Yogie was an angel sent from God to teach me and others. What amazes me even more is that the day before we left the 5-week team met him again. And he stopped THEM! God is wonderful!!
