This month God has been teaching me about surrender—surrender through prayer.

Surrender: to give up control and give
God the reins, “the wheel if you prefer.

Surrender: to trust that God knows best.

Surrender: to believe that His grace IS
enough… for me… for my family… for my teammates… for the city of Prague.

Surrender: to believe God will do as He
says. (His Glory will fall, His Kingdom WILL come).

Surrender is hard because the world tells us that we
have control over our lives. For example, we
caused it, we achieved it, and we deserve glory
. We tend to credit
ourselves with good and give God credit with the bad.

The truth is: God started it. He gave us breath. He gave
us life, AND new life. He will also finish it. We were never in control; when
we think we are everything goes array. He knows better. He definitely knows
better.

October is our month of surrender. We go where God leads.
On days
without a scheduled event, we simply wake up and surrender our day to
God.

We choose to:

Pray and Worship and Let God do the rest.

Evangelizing isn’t about presenting our case: A won
argument doesn’t always equal a won soul. In fact, won arguments can almost
guarantee a lost soul. Instead, evangelizing is allowing God to use broken
people as a vessel for the Holy Spirit to work. It is saying, “God, I’m not
perfect but use me, as you will.

Surrender: to allow the Holy Spirit to change hearts,
not me.

Preach the gospel at
all times, when necessary use words.- St. Francis of Assisi

I STILL NEED $552.60 to be fully funded! I’m trying to surrender that to God as well, KNOW that He WILL provide.

Help be a part of that mini miracle!
