First of all, I want to apologize to my supporters for my lack of blogging the last 20 days..
However, some amazing things have been happening on my January 2010 team. Thursday night, I posted a blog on our racers only page in response to a video posted on www.theworldrace.org . The blog was my attempt at beginning real community in our team… real community where we are broken and vulnerable, but pieced back together into one beautiful mosaic of broken glass (thanks Mike for that metaphor). Our team has really began to open up to that idea and as much as it was shocking to me, the responses have been amazing. So our team.. the L train.. I don’t believe we are going to have real community.. I think we are going to have amazing community… serving Gods children as a united front, battling Satan head on.
