After five days of traveling on a bus we have finally arrived in heart of the jungle in Peru. It was a long process to get here, but was worth every second looking back. I want to tell you about a lady named, Victoria that we met on our way to the jungle. When I walked by her the first time, she was shaking her cup in the middle of the square in Tumbus, Peru. I walked right by observing her. Later Kayla needed to head to bank and as we walked out of the bank, a group of world racers just approached her and we went over to talk with her.

My prediction was that she was in her upper 90’s and had major health issues. She had a hump back, head tilted down, and a tumor on her right side of her body. Later we came to find out that she was trying to raise money for her surgery. We started to pray for healing for her on her tumor (we could feel the tumor getting smaller) also healing for her back and neck. She said she had not stood and walked in a long time because it was so painful. After we prayed for her we asked her to stand up and she did and started dancing. I was in awe of the power of God! She was 90+ and she started dancing!!!! Praise the LORD!!

Meanwhile, there was a crowd that started gathering. First about ten people, then twenty, and at the end there was probably about 50ish people crowded around us and Victoria. (In my head, I was picturing that this was how it was for Jesus. He went to the least of these and when He talked, the crowds came.) It was a beautiful thing. We then told the crowd that this was the work of the Lord and that He loved them and has a plan for their lives.

After we said goodbye to Victoria, people from the crowd came up to us and asked us to pray for them or their children. There were people talking on their phone to people saying, “You guys need to come down here… you got to see this.” It was what I have been praying for… to be used by God to heal and show God’s power. It was the perfect picture of what Jesus would have been like if He walked the streets in Peru. What a blessing to be a part of that and to be used by Him.

In Matthew 10:8 is says to “Heal the sick, raise the dead, cure those with leprosy, and cast out demons. Give as freely as you have received.”

That is what Jesus said to do! I challenge you to believe and heal others. You don’t need to be in a different country to do it… you need to just believe that Jesus will do what He says!

Thanks for reading and letting me share my life with you!

Love you all!!!

In Him,

Linsey
