Every Saturday at 4:30 a few American locals bring tents, warm water, shampoo, clean clothes, and brushes to clean the homeless children. The park was packed with children and their mothers who were anxiously waiting to be bathed. As I talked with the few Americans who headed this up, I found out that many of the children are given to other mothers with children and the more children a women has and how dirty they are depends on how much money they get from people. Even though there were tons of children getting washed there was also many that didn’t, mainly for begging reasons. As everyone finished up washing the last children then they started packing up their stuff. I saw a mother bolt to wash her hair quick in the tub of water because who knows when the last time was that she washed her own hair. It was awesome to be apart of this experience and I am so thankful that there are many people who are obedient to God because if those people weren’t then we wouldn’t have ministries like this that take care of the homeless and show them Gods love week after week.

There is something about washing that is the perfect representation of what Christ did for us. He took our dirt upon Him and after dying on the cross made us clean. All he wants is for us to give our lives to Him and when He has our best interests at hand… is that too much to ask?

**A little update**

We are leaving Bolivia on the 12th to fly to Miami then to New York. We will have a 15 hour layover in NY and then will head to Albania. You may be wondering why we fly back to the US but it is because flights are cheaper from the US. Please pray for safe travels and that we get where we need to…

Another side note… We are getting our team switches before we get to New York… These happen on every squad after three months. It is mainly to keep teams healthy and if teams are healthy to make them a little more uncomfortable… Please pray for this transition because it will be really hard to leave my family of five girls who I have fallen in love with… I am glad it is in God’s hands…
