The WR is coming to an end (I CAN’T BELIEVE IT) and as I am reflecting on what the Lord has done in my life these past 11 months and I am completely and utterly overwhelmed. Here are some things the Lord has done this year.
God has taught me to…
– Love as He loves even in the best, horrifying, and trying situations
–Persevere even through everything even the most difficult circumstances
–Seek Him and look for His will in the situation instead of my own
–Fight for my team and injustices that happen around the world
–Move into action and do something with what God has exposed me to
–Rest in Him… sit in silence and solitude and just be with the father
-Listen to His voice and move when He says move and stay when He says stay
–Be Obedient… enough said
-GIVE like in Matthew 10:8 “freely received, freely give”
-Have a pure heart in every situations only looking to glorify the Lord
–Prefer others over myself…always giving others the best in all situations
–Know scripture to grow and also to help encourage others with verses
–Honor my brothers and sisters by living in an environment that doesn’t talk about one another
-Be an encourager to others
These are just the ones off the top of my head. Needless to say, I am coming back a different Linsey Thomas than the one that left. I am THRILLED to go back home and continue relying on the Lord. I am excited to serve my family, friends, and community better. Thank you friends and family for reading my blogs, praying, encouraging me, and supporting me. Even being so far away feel I can the love and support so thank you. See you in a few weeks and I get back to the US on the 9th!!!!!!
