Greetings from Vietnam!!

One thing I have enjoyed this month is emerging in the Vietnam culture. It’s important to experience and dive in the culture. There have been many eye opening moments of how different my culture is to theirs. The key thing is to embrace it. Embrace using the chopsticks, embrace using the squatty potty, embrace buying your food from a street vendors. There is so much you can embrace in just a short moment of time!

For example, going grocery shopping in the states means going to Walmart. Normally I will buy most of my food at one store for two weeks worth of groceries. However, going food shopping in Vietnam or most other countries means going outside on long strip of different food vendor. They are all bargaining with you. Everything is out, open, and fresh.

We have been blessed to have amazing hosts! They have been so hospitable towards us this month. V. has been preparing our meals and she is a great cook! One day my team wanted to return the servanthood and cook for our host! Here is a vlog on our adventure to the market place.

As you watch the video look for somethings that sticks out to you? ENJOY!
