This month in Thailand my team had an opportunity to partner with YWAM Knon Kean. We lived with the DTS students.
Team Warriors with our ministry host – Man.
This month was jam pack but we definitely saw God use each of our talents, time, and testimonies.
DTS means Discipleship Training School. This discipleship program focus on the Thai people to know God and to make Him known.
This is recent class of DTS students.
One of my personal prayers for the Race was to use my personal skills to help my ministry host in a tangible way. I had an opportunity to help promote the program by making brochures and an information video to know more about the DTS program.
Our ministry overview for the month:
1. Manual labor- In the mornings we cut the grass and planted at the orphanage. Hats off to those who do manual labor daily…it is hard work in the sun! One day we help planted roughly 15 lemon trees.
2. Kids Ministry- In the afternoon we did Kids ministry at the orphanage. We played games, singed songs, and taught bible lessons.
3. Campus Ministry– We evangelized at two different college campus. Most the college students knew English so it make it easy to have simple conversations. One student asked me why I believed the bible? It caught me off guard at first. I told him I chose to believe that the bible is the word of God. I tried to explain the same way you chose to believe your Engineer books will help you have a better understanding of the subject to get a good job, I believe the bible will help me get a better understand of Jesus and to life a good life.
4. Rehab Center– Every Wednesday we went to the Baan Sangalon Rehabilitation Center. We had praise &worship, skits, games, bible lessons, and small group. This was a new ministry and it was a great to be apart of launching it. By the 3 week 6 men came to know to the Lord!!!

5. Music Ministry– One Saturdays we were to teach the students music instruments. Unfortunately most of my team are not musically talented. However I did play the clarinet through middle school. We just watched and support from a far. After music class we did a bible skit for the children.
6. Prison ministry- It was a God thing to make to the prison. We partnered with another organization that has been going to one of the largest and nicest prison in Knon Kaen. We meet with 7 women and had an opportunity to speak life into them. Most of the women to come know of Jesus behind bars!
7. Evangelism We send a couple days with the DTS students doing street evangelism. One day 2 people came to know the Lord!!
8. Preschool, Middle & High School – On our last day of ministry we visited two schools. At the preschool we played games and made crafts with the kids. At the secondary school we participated in an assemble program. One of my teammate Sarah Patty had an opportunity to share her testimony for the first time. There were over 300 students in attendance.
9.YWAM Meeting & Church Services- We attended YMWAM meetings every Tuesdays!! One of my favorite worship sessions on the race. Every Sunday we visited different churches. We always stayed ready if we were called to give a testimony or sing a worship song.
Thailand is our last Asian country for the Race and it has been my favorite overall!
**Thank you for keep up with my journey thus far. I am still raising support towards my trip. I am only $700 away to be FULLY FUNDED! My prayer is to be FULLY FUNDED by the end of this month. I am asking both your prayers and support if you feel led to donate. Thank you in advance! **
