This month in Thailand my team has partnered with YWAM Khon Kaen. YWAM means Youth With A Mission. The YWAM Khon Kaen base also has a 6-month Discipleship Training School for the Thai people.
Ministry has looked different each day but it has consist of doing manual labor in the mornings, going to an orphanage to teach English and bible lessons, campus ministries, prison ministry and evangelism.
One of my favorite ministry thus far has been going to the Baan Sangalon Rehabilitation Center weekly. Consistency is key and it has been great to meet with this group of men. Most of the men at the center are non-believers yet their are open to hear our testimonies, bible teachings, and encouragement. The ultimate goal is to have a Christian presence at this center and to help the men as they transition back into the world with life skills so they wont have to go back to drugs.
Here is a glimpse of our day at the center.
We did the “Sin Chair” Skit , where the chair represents “Sin” and how we can get stuck in our sin. We try our hardest to get out of sin and sometimes we can drag other people with us in our sins. Ultimately it is through Jesus Christ we can get freedom from our sin!
On this particular day FOUR MEN gave their lives to Christ!! WHOOAA!!!
