I am beyond excited and blessed to be on this trip. Since I was in high school I have had a passion to help people, a desire to go out and experience the world and serve people. I never expected to be doing the race at this point in my life. But God has made his plan very clear, showing me that this is the next step in my life. I graduated from Wheaton College in May. These four years were some of the best times of worship, community, learning, beauty, and joy. However during this time I also encountered great pain dealing with my own brokenness and the deceitfulness of my own heart. God used this time to eventually strip me of everything down to my core. Yet through these experiences God has prepared my heart to be challenged, stretched and molded!
Besides the deep stuff here are some fun facts about me
I have played waterpolo for the last 8 years of my life. It is the best and hardest sport i have ever played but It is sooooooo much fun!
I lived in Amsterdam for 6 months, working in a Christian Youth Hostel where I discovered my passion for the international community, a love for missiosn and evanglism
I love animals! Especially Dogs and sometimes I miss them more than my family when I am at school
Though I live in Chicago, I am a California girl at heart!
My friends and family are super important to me! I love them so much and I would do anything for them!
I love to challenge myself, go on adventures and do spontaneous and crazy things!
