Who am I?

I am Lindsey Rose Wilcox, the daughter of The Most High King who has blessed me with an incredible family and an amazing life.

I am also the middle child, or the wild child if you will! I say this because I’ve always been the one to push boundaries, live life on the edge and purposely swim against the current. I like to be challenged, stretched, uncomfortable because it equips me to go deeper in my relationship with God. The more I surrender my own wants, the more I fall in love with my creator.

About the Fam Bam:

My parents, Jack and Patty Wilcox are full of faith and taught me what it looks like to live a life that is pleasing to the Lord. They are in full time ministry so I have grown up watching them constantly sacrifice, surrender, and live according to God’s word and not man’s word. They are the perfect example of a God centered relationship and have been married for 30 years! I love them so much and I’m so thankful for their support in everything I do.

My older brother Jackson (2 years older than me) is happily married to Corinne and thriving! I am so thankful for the relationship I have with them. Jackson knows how to quickly connect with people on a very deep level. He is constantly showing God to the world so the world can find God just by living out his life daily. Corinne is a lifelong friend who I reconnected with on a mission trip back in 2012, her family lives in Guatemala full time as missionaries. Jackson and Corinne look to put God first in their relationship and were 100% made for each other.

My little sister Rebekah Grace is an amazing athlete and committed to playing volleyball at the next level. She is also my best friend and is full of wisdom at a young age. She inspires me to live authentic and to be a leader by example. She is the smart one who learns from other people’s mistakes. I love her dearly and I am thankful that we can connect and have a great relationship with each other even though we are 5 years apart.

Ava Jhenae (AKA: Nae-Nae. Ava Nae, Jhenae nae, Nava, AJ, so many nicknames I can’t list them all) She is my pup and is my actual best friend. I spend the most time with her and love her so much. I even have a hat that says, “Dog Mom” because she is my fur child. She is literally the most adorable dachshund you’ll ever see and I just want to give a shoutout to God for making her because He did good.

What is my Personality like?

According to the Myers Briggs personality test, I am an INFP which means I am introverted, intuitive, feeling, and perceiving.

I like to say I’m an introvert with good people skills. I recharge by being alone, and making time to be still. I come across extroverted to most people because I do love interacting with people. However, after a while my energy drains and I have to separate myself.

I am intuitive because I LOVE doing things that are new and different. I could never live a life doing the same thing everyday. I also like to see the big picture, then to find out the facts.

I am 100% a feeler, I have always been full of emotion and I cry a lot. I cry when I am happy, sad, frustrated, when something is cute, at the movies, etc. I used to get embarrassed by my tears but now I just let em flow!

I am perceiving because I love to stay open to respond to whatever happens. I think that going with the flow makes life so much more enjoyable. I can’t predict tomorrow, or even what will happen five minutes from now so why try to? As the cliché goes: “let go, and let God.”

What do I enjoy?

I enjoy being outside, practicing yoga, singing my heart out, writing music, and hanging out with my pup, family, and friends.
