My World Race squad is from all over the country, so I tried to tell them the amazing company that is H-E-B Grocery. Yeah, yeah, just a grocery store. Nope. Definitely not just a grocery store. Don’t worry, I invited them to come to Texas when we get back so I can show them the beauty of H-E-B. Aside from how much better it is to shop at H-E-B, the company truly is amazing because of its culture and the people.

Goodness, this is where it begins to get real difficult. I have 3.5 days left with my H-E-B team. My second family. I have to admit, I never thought I’d ever be this close with coworkers.

Team, I hope you have seen Jesus in me. I hope you have seen Him in my choices, in my character, in my day-to-day. I know I haven’t always held to that. I’ve shown you my sin in more ways than I wish were true, but I hope you know how much I love Jesus, and how much I want you all to know and love Jesus. If you didn’t see that, I am truly sorry. In hindsight, I realize that I could and should have done that more, because I think that is the purpose of my life. To share Jesus with people. I’m sure the Lord will show me how to be more bold over this next year. I hope you’ll read stories of how He is pushing me into that more and more.

I have learned so much from each of you. I have had so much fun with all of you. From Rosario’s at least once a week, to Carlos fake gagging at the idea of going to Fratello’s (even though you actually love the place, let’s be real), to cube pow wows, to First Friday’s in Southtown, I have had a blast. Before I joined this team, I really wasn’t sure if it was the right decision. I was hesitant at first, because I didn’t know if the role was right for me. Now over two years later, I know that it was the right move. And not necessarily just because I fit in the role, but because I realized that God always intended for me to meet all of you. This was part of His plan for me, and for y’all too.

Guys, I am going to miss you so much. Love you, and I’ll see you in a year (it’ll fly by, I know it).
