This blog is dedicated to my best friend!She is someone I have prayed for to come into my life. I never really had many friends growing up. They would always walk out and abandon me. Naturally I wanted that forever friend, someone that wouldn’t walk away when things get tough.
If you don’t have that friend in your life, I pray that you would find that. But don’t settle for just anyone. Spend time praying and asking God to send you your forever friend. Even journal the qualities you would like in a friend. I promise you it’s worth it having someone to go through life with.
To my best friend:
I think that you are placed into peoples lives for a reason. Sometimes I wonder how I got so lucky and what I have done to deserve a friend like you. People have come and gone out of my life, but for some reason you never left. Your friendship is one of the greatest gifts I have ever received.Thank you for coming into my life when you did. I honestly don’t know where I would be without you. God sent you to me in the perfect timing. I didn’t really have a strong relationship with God at the time. I was a baby christian at the time. But because I watched you and watched how strong your relationship was with God, I wanted that. I wanted to have my own relationship with God. Thank you for coming along side of me and teaching me what you knew. I don’t think that was an accident at all that we attended the same bible study, God had a plan for us.
Thank you for always believing in me. I am so thankful for all of the memories we have made together! We have has some amazing memories together and some bad memories(myrtle beach trip). I wouldn’t trade those memories for the world. It’s always an adventure when you get us together.
You believed in me when I didn’t believe in myself. You loved me when I was hard to love. You listened to me no matter what you had going on in your life and you let me cry in your arms when I was broken. But most importantly, you never gave up on me. That is special. You never judged me once for my mistakes. You loved me fiercely.
You know me to my core. You know what makes me smile and what irritates me or makes me mad. You can tell in an instant when I am upset and then continue to do everything in your power to make me feel better. If I am going through something, you are the first person to text me to make sure I am okay. When my confidence lags, you reassure me of myself. You build me up and show me how God sees me. You understand my sense of humor, my love for sarcasm, and laugh at my terrible jokes and side comments. Even tho people don’t think were that funny but we can laugh till our tummies hurt and were crying because were laughing so hard. Those are the memories I will savor for a lifetime.
I love the selflessness that you carry. You fill my life with an immense amount of happiness and love. I know that wherever life takes us, you will be part of my life. Whenever I need you, I know you will always be there for me.
Best friend, You are one of the strongest people I know. The things you have gone through has made you who you are today. You are courageous! You are brave.You are someone I look up to. You encourage me to follow my dreams. And that is something that I love about you. I can’t wait to watch how God grows you and shapes you into the women he has created you to be! You might not see the whole picture right now, but I promise God’s plan for your life is going to be incredible.
I love that you’re my prayer warrior. When I need prayer, You stop everything you’re doing to pray for me and send me scripture. Because of you doing that for me it has showed me your heart for the lord. You have taught me how to fight my battles in prayer too! You make me a better person!
I know I will be leaving in August for 11 months, But that doesn’t change a thing! You will always be my best friend. Your my Thelma! Nobody could replace you. I believe those 11 months will really get you out of your comfort zone and grow you a lot. It will push you until your out of your comfort zone. But don’t worry, God is your comforter! He will be there when it gets hard for you. He will be there when your missing me or vice versa. He will hold you close.
