Coming off of Albania, I did not think life could get better. We had the most beautiful ministry location and I loved working with the children.
But then we began working with Mission Possible in Bulgaria.
Mission Possible is so influential to the Christian culture of Bulgaria. First, the organization runs many Christian teaching conferences and seminars. They also publish Bulgaria's only Christian women's magazine and also publish other Christian literature, such as the first Bulgarian Bible with maps!
Besides educating Christians further, Mission Possible is focused on helping and serving their community. They run soup kitchens out of local churches for Gypsy children. For most of these children, these are the only meals they will eat during the winter months. They also provide literacy classes, Bible studies and professional training to the Gypsy community.
This month so far has been really exciting for me and a real representation of God's goodness.
When we first arrived, we had a few days to relax in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria, at Mission Possible's headquarters. They had amazingly comfortable beds, Wifi, a kitchen, hot showers and even a washing machine!
After a few days of rest, we were told that we would be working at a camp at the top of the mountains outside of Sliven, about 4 hours away. Coming off of the camp in Albania, I immediately thought we would be going a youth camp. Man…was I wrong!

The camp we went to was a week long camp for people of all ages from all over Bulgaria. The theme of the camp was making worship your mindset every single day. We were paired with some of the most amazing young adults from a church in Sofia. (Like no joke- I want to be friends with these people for the rest of my life!) Our main job at this camp was to clean the squaty potties twice a day and to build relationships.

It was life changing to worship in Bulgarian. The culture impacted me and shaped my heart greatly. Plus, God's power was so clear when you looked at the beautiful Bulgarian mountains. Being able to completely disconnect from all electronics and just camp under the stars was exactly what I needed!
Now, we are in Dobromirka, a village of 771, working at Mission Possible's conference center. The women are cleaning up the inside of the building while the men are using their muscles working outside!
The first half of this month has been such a blessing and I cannot wait to see what the rest of the month holds for us! Thank you for your continued prayers and financial support!
