Name: Max
Age: 3 years old
Max is the picture perfect example of a little boy. I think you can literally see his mischievous plans in his eyes. I also believe Max looks like a little professional athlete. He walks around the house with so much swag: his chest is out, his head is held high and he has a smile that just says, “I know I am cute”.
Max came to Sarah’s Covenant Home with several congenital heart abnormalities. In 2011, he had a surgery that has allowed for him to be a overall healthy and happy boy, although his oxygen levels still need to be monitored and if he throws a temper tantrum, he turns the color of a Smurf. He will need more surgical intervention in the future, but as of right now he is doing well.
Max is extremely smart and speaks English very well. He starts off being a little reserved but quickly opens up, especially when he is with his partner in crime, Evan. Max attends mainstream preschool and learns so well! This month, he has been working on getting potty trained so he no longer has to wear Huggies! His favorite place to go potty is off the patio on the roof! (What a typical little boy!) He does go in the potty occasionally and then we get to have a real celebration!
