Age: 3 years old
Look at that picture of Evan! Can you see the mischief in his eyes? Because, boy oh boy, is it there! He and Max are a quite the duo! The are always chit-chatting and walking around the house like they own the place! Despite being one of the younger boys, Evan takes on the role of “Man of the House” and always stands by the gate to let visitors in and he greets everyone with a smile and an excited hug!
Evan came to SCH with a bad case of Tuberculosis, for which undergoes treatment for still. Besides being susceptible to one mighty cough, Evan is a perfectly healthy little boy! He attends an English speaking private preschool which allows for easy communication with the English speaking volunteers.
Besides being a little goofball, Evan is extremely knowledgeable in what is going on all over the house. He is the first to let us know if something is amiss. He is also extremely protective over all his brothers, ayahs, and volunteers and loves to take care of people. He is completely content with playing with Kristen’s hair and will always help us if our Punjabis are ruffled up.
This month, Evan has also been working on potty training and has been very successful! He recently moved out of Huggies and into big boy underwear! He is very good about telling us when he needs to use the restroom, both verbally telling us as well as signing to us. Now, after he successfully goes in the potty, he does the sign and goes straight into a double thumbs up!
