Even though I’m not there yet, it’s time for me to write a thank you note. This is a thank you for each of you.
If you’re reading, thank you.
If you’ve prayed, thank you.
If you’ve sent me an encouraging note, thank you.
If you’ve donated, thank you.
I have no idea how to express my gratitude to each of you. You’ve allowed me to be here. You’ve cheered me on when I was too tired to keep going on my own. You’ve been the ones to buy my plane tickets and you’ve put every bite of food on my plate for the last 7 months.
You’ve allowed buildings to be constructed.
Orphans to be prayed for.
People to be healed.
You’ve allowed me to embark on a journey that will leave me forever changed. Sweetly and deeply marked with the realities of this world and the deep love of the Father.
This week I said goodbye to my teammate who became my sister. She was here one day and then before I could take a breath, she was on a plane back to America.
One heartbeat, a breath and everything can change. Every second of this thing has been an extraordinary gift.
Thank you for giving it to me.
