How I’m Living – Ukraine

Month 9 is definitely in full swing here in Lviv, Ukraine. It's been a fun but busy month, so I apologize for not blogging as frequently. Many of you have voiced your concerns about our being in Ukraine during this time, but I want to assure all of you that we are extremely safe. The Lord is protecting us, and both our contacts as well as AIM are closely monitoring the political situation. We are in far western Ukraine, just 45 minutes from Poland, so while you should continue to pray for us and for Ukraine, please also have peace.

This month we are living with an amazing missionary family from Texas. We have hot showers, amazing food, beds, a game room, a washing machine, and pets!!! It's quite luxurious, and we are definitely not taking any of it for granted.

The Blessing Family (and what a blessing they are!) is in the process of expanding their home in order to house more teams in the future, and eventually they hope to house Jews who are waiting to return to Israel. They have huge hearts for the Jewish population and they have a beautiful vision of providing a safe place for Jews and loving on them. In helping them expand their ministry, we have spent the month painting the newly renovated section of their home. Many people have also helped in the garden and we have made weekly visits to the local orphanage to love on some precious babies.

God has provided us with a warm and loving family and a non-relational based ministry, which is a much needed break for most of us. We are soaking it all up that's for sure.
