The majority of my squad is in Bulgaria this month, but my team is living and working at a church in Sombor, Serbia. Our contact, Zoltan (AKA Zoli), has a vision of teams staying at the church in the future, but we are the first to be staying here for this long. There's no shower, and there's no place to do laundry, so we have had to get a little creative this month.
The boys live in a room above the coffee shop.

The girls live upstairs.

Our whole team decided to get an inexpensive membership to a local gym while we are here so we can exercise, but also so we have somewhere to shower!

This is the shower at the church, still a month away from being finished.

As far as laundry is concerned, some of us have asked members of the church to do our laundry, and others have hand washed theirs in the sink.
This month we are helping with an English club three times a week, sharing testimonies and preaching on Sundays, helping with Royal Rangers, working with the youth a bit, and the boys are helping with the construction of the shower that won't be finished until after we leave. Outside of those things we are pursuing relationships with people in this town and loving them the best we can.

This is our charming town, our church, and our church's coffee shop.

Pray for Serbia and for our team as we seek to make a difference here.
