This update is a little overdue but I didn’t really have any thing to tell you till like a month ago… and then I just struggled with writing a blog at all… anyway here is an update.
In my last post I mentioned two different internships that I was thinking about taking in Georgia… well both have fallen through for one reason or another. I’m not gonna lie it was a rough day when I got word back from the second internship that it wasn’t going to happen. Mainly because I really, really wanted it and I had already started planning on it. So once I found it wasn’t going to happen I was a little shocked.
So I guess the point of this blog is just admitting that I have no idea what I’m doing next. This is the first time in my life I don’t have a plan. There are days this fact is really exciting and others it can be quite scary. But I know God has me here right now for a reason and at the end of the day that’s really all that matters. What I’m doing about my future? I’m pursuing anything that comes along. So we will see what happens.
As for what I’m doing right now. God has provided me with a cool job. I work at a deli and can make a pretty mean sandwich 🙂 I’m also getting to spend time with my family which has been wonderful because even before the race I wasn’t able to see them all that much. And while living in a small mountain town is a HUGE change for me, it has some perks. I am surrounded by the Rocky Mountains, the Colorado River is literally in my backyard and all the outdoors-y things you can think of are at my fingertips. It’s great.
