In Thailand our ministry was teaching English at a local college.

Should pretty simple right? Yeah no it wasn't.

The college that our ministry partner wanted us to go to was one that she had never sent people to before and had no contact with at all. We figured that we could at least show up the first morning with a frisbee and hang around – cause all college students like frisbee right?

Nope we kinda got kicked off the campus for that.

But that afternoon we went back and two of us went into the office to see if we could at least get in contact with their english teacher. They ended up running into the principal who sent up a meeting with the english teacher for us. Out of the three english teachers that work at the college only one was willing to talk with us. She allowed us to teach her classes but only two of us could teach at a time. So we were a little bummed about that but we were so grateful that she was allowing us into her class. Lesson planning was an interesting experience to say the least. only one of us was a teacher so it was a lot of trial and error. But it went so well and the teacher liked us so much that on our last day we actually taught the classes by ourselves. We all came in the last class and had an awesome time with the students. It was wonderful for all of us to finally being working together. And was  great way to end our ministry in Thailand.

Oh also we set up a meeting with the English teacher so say goodbye and thank you. We brought Emmi (our ministry contact with us) – when Emmi told the teacher about the english tutoring that her ministry offers  and about other missionaries (well that's probably not the word she used but they were talking in Thai so I have no idea what was really said) that could help out in english class the teacher was very interested. She even gave Emmi her weekly class schedule .So that was the best thing that could have happened.

Looking back its amazing to see how drastically things/people can be changed when you pray, step out and follow Gods direction. In less then three weeks we went from being kicked out of the school to being left alone to teach a class. AND helping our ministry contact have a presents on that campus. AMAZING.

How is God wanting you to step out and follow Him? If you don't know, you should ask 🙂
