-You speak in broken English constantly…even with teammates and other Americans.
-Cold weather is 70 degrees.
-Air Conditioning is refered to as Air Con
-7 out of 10 times, Air con is actually a fan
-Six month old babies riding on the front of a moto is totally normal
-You take of your shoes at every threshold with out even thinking
-Sanitation has become a foreign word to you
-You've lost count of how many men you've seen peeing on the side of the rode
-You've lost count of how many cows you've seen
-A restroom with a western toilet is a really nice. A restroom with toilet paper is pure gold.
-You don't go anywhere without toilet paper
-$5 dollars is really expensive. $10 is outrageous
-Purchasing fake raybands for more than two dollars is absurd
–Face masks are no longer assocciated with swine flu but are common everyday attire.
-At 5'6, I am considered tall
On December 30th, my squad will be saying goodbye to Asia. God is doing incredible things in Asia and we have been incredibly blessed to be a part of it. Next stop, Africa!!
