This blog is slightly terrifying to write.

Writing this blog means trusting God even more.

One year ago, I sent in my World Race application, saying "God, if this is what you want me to do, it will work out."

Today, I am saying that again. I just sent a message to my squad leaders, informing them that I will not be flying back with the squad to the United States in June. Instead, I will fly directly from eastern Europe to India. I will spend the month of June volunteering at the orphanage we volunteered at during my very first month of the race.

It is my hope to work a lot with little Jodi, who captured my heart last July. I want to give her the individual attention she needs and it is my prayer that by the end of my stay, she will be walking.

Trusting God with this is hard.

It means trusting Him that:

– My full support for the race (1,785 dollars to go) will be raised

– I will be able to raise an extra 2,500$ for India

– I will be able to get a visa for India while we are in Africa

– I will have energy to go to another country

Thankfully, I don't have to worry because it's in God's hands, but I am human and thus, I will still needlessly worry from time to time. Please pray for this journey, for God's provision, and for peace and trust.

Thank you all for your love, prayers, and encouragement. Please continue to pray for me. For those who have already supported me finacially, I am so appreciative. Please share my story with friends. I know that God has such incredible things in store and I would love for more people to join me on this journey. Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Latvia, Estonia, and back for a second round of India- only God knows what will happen but I know it will be so good! Can't wait for each country, and as for India I can't wait to see all of my old friends:

Precious Jodi, Spazzy Ruthie (who is still quoted by my team, but out of a complete love for her), lovely Parvathi (My first "Woman of the World"), sweet Naomi (our first translator) and sooooo many more.
