Pre-world-race I was completely blessed but an unknown
person and I wanted to share the blessing in hopes of encouraging those who are
in need of it.God does know your needs……
brought in off the front porch. It was early on a Saturday morning and I paid
no attention to it as the bag sat below our mail slot inside the house for a
day. On Sunday afternoon I was picking up the house before heading to a friends
to baby-sit and grabbed the bag to clean up. I opened the bag and saw a daily
devotional book inside called Jesus Calling. I immediately thought “the
Christians are really moving in my neighborhood”…Oh how naive I can be at
times. So I pulled the small book out and then noticed an enveloped addressed
to me. I opened the letter, started reading, and slowly started falling to my
knees out of the love God has for me.
beautifully written, and it spoke directly to my heart. The letter proceeded to
encourage me to trust God in every situation, whether I see Him working or not.
It encouraged me to listen to what God was saying about me and who I am in Him.
That He loves me, that He will never forsake me, and that He has big things
planned for me this year. God’s words in that letter made me weep like I’ve
never done before. It was an answer to prayer.
The ADDITIONAL BLESSING was the $600 inside of the letter.
It was the EXACT AMOUNT needed to pay for my storage bin for 12 months. I didn’t have the
money so I
was waiting in anticipation for God to show up in a big way to help. I knew that since He told me to go on
the WR…He would provide. That can look
different in every situation but I continued to wait. I had no clue that the
blessing would come in a grocery bag with a beautiful letter, a great
devotional book, and the exact amount of money to take care of my storage for
the year. Simply amazing.
**I still don’t know who God used to bless me since the letter
was signed “Love, Jesus”. Whoever you are, please know… that was a moment and a
blessing I will never forget. Thank you.**
God used someone to bless me in a way I’ve never experienced
before. God knows the details of my life, of your life and He wants to be a
part of it. He ALWAYS comes through and He is NEVER LATE.
Dear Lord, thank you for knowing the depths of my heart. Father, thank you for blessing me in such a creative way
and for loving me in a way only you can. God, you are amazing and I know that
you delight in me day and night, and I thank you for continuing to work in my
life. You are my first Love.
