Hey everyone!
First, I just want to say Thank You to everyone who has supported me so far in my trip – financially, spiritually and emotionally. I’m so appreciative of everyone’s help so far. Now, for more exciting news:
For those of you who have asked me about different ways you can support me financially on this trip, I have great news – here is your first opportunity!!! Many don’t realize that while I need to raise $16,242 in order to finance my year long trip, I also need money in order to buy the supplies I will need while I am gone. These too can be a financial burden.
Below is a link to a registry I made at REI (a store where I will be getting a majority of the supplies that I will need for my trip). For those of you who like to physically see where your donations go, here is the perfect way to help!

So if you want to give cash or checks, that’s great. I really do appreciate it. But if you prefer to give a gift of an item I will need for the year, you can do that too. All gifts and support will make it possible for me to spend the next year doing awesome mission work for the Lord. If you donate a gift through the REI registry, then you can participate in the trip with me through your item. Just think, your “Sea To Summit Aeros Pillow” could cradle my head for eleven months next year almost as if you yourself were right there with me. Wouldn’t that be great?!
So look over the list today. Then look over the list again next week, and the week after that, and then keep on checking because the list will be constantly changing as I update it with items my preparation and training reveal I will need.
I’m still working out the details about how the items will come to me, but don’t let that stop you. If you see an item you would like to invest in for my race, you can purchase it through the registry. We’ll work out getting it to me with the REI guys.
