I’m Lindsey and I am from a small town outside of Knoxville, Tennessee. I have three older sisters and three brother-in-laws. I honestly believe I have the greatest parents in the entire world. They love me, support me and inspire me everyday. I LOVE animals and am always that person asking to pet your dog in public. Recently, I finished my second year of undergraduate, got accepted into nursing school and decided it was not the right time. I went on a mission trip to Ghana at the beginning of the summer and I felt God calling me to something bigger while I was there. It was the first time in years I had ZERO cell phone function for 10 days. But with the whole world silenced God began whispering, speaking eventually shouting in my ears sweet truths like Be Still, Slow Down, Focus on Me.
A. W. Tozer writes, ” O God, I have tasted Thy goodness, and it has both satisfied me and made me thirsty for more. I am painfully conscious of my need for further grace. I am ashamed of my lack of desire. O God, the Triune God, I want to want Thee; I long to be filled with longing; I thirst to be made more thirsty still.”
I want to want Thee, I long to be filled with longing. This want is what has pulled me into the World Race. I am excited to be made more thirsty still, to be filled with longing and to simply KNOW HIM MORE.

Things I don’t love :: cold coffee, dirty feet and reading out loud.
