My team took about a thirty minute drive to visit the hospital and our plan was to pray with people.

My first thought when I was told I would be visiting the hospital, was I would be able to go inside and see the patients.  I was completely wrong!

When I got there, my team and I had to walk through this big silver door.  The police had to give us an okay to enter the waiting area of the hospital, which is outside in the hot sun.  As we entered we saw a large amounts of people waiting to know more information about their family members and sadly some were waiting for their family member who were in the morgue.

We split up into teams to go pray with people.  On my team, two of the street kids that live at “Zion’s Gate” were with me.  At first many of my teamates were nervous, including me.  God was gracious and I helped to encourage some of the kids.  I enjoyed talking to the people and learning about why they were there.

After about thirty minutes to a hour, everyone was wrapping up their conversations.  Then we saw a daughter faint, after seeing their mother being put in another ambulance. We all began to pray for her and the daughter soon regain composer.

As this was happening, my right side was beginning to feel painful.  My team and the group I was with were making their way through the gate to leave the hospital. After we passed the gate, I spoke up and told my group about the pain. I said, ” Someone here or a family member inside, has a kidney problem.”  Then someone in my group spoke up and said that they have stones in their kidney.  So we began to pray right there for her.   I continue to pray for her.
