Ministry in Nepal has been booming! Since the lepers colony, we have visited a children’s home, done two more prayer walks around Hindu and Buddhist strongholds, attended a very large, contemporary Nepali church, hiked a mountain to pray over the valley, played with children at the local slums, and other small things. We have been able to meet so many people and touch so many lives so far. Oh, I also made friends with some young boys outside our house this week. They were playing a little soccer game, so I went outside and played with them for about an hour during our resting time. They are actually really good. Now, I completely understand the struggle of playing in flip flops like all the kids do, because I was playing in crocs and almost busted it multiple times. That has been a little bit of side ministry I have found joy in.

Yesterday we visited the local slums and fed the children breakfast. We worked with the organization DAIL community, which started in Korea and even has a couple bases in the USA. They help send kids to school and provide two meals a day for them as well. If you are looking to help an organization or sponsor a child, I would highly recommend this ministry because they are really being the hands and feet of the Lord. Their website is www.dail.org. All these children just want to be cared for and loved. It was such a blessing to be able to let them know that they are seen.

I met a child there and didn’t get his name, but his hand was bandaged very badly. His soft smile shone so brightly, which overflowed into my life. He reminded that the Lord is good even through the trials and pain. I reached out to see if he would give me a high five with his other hand, but he was too shy. Other kids tried to tell me that he couldn’t because his hand was injured, but I think that is just a representation of God’s persistence towards us as believers. Even when we think we don’t have the strength or ability to grab hold of Him in rough times, He still stands there with His arms wide open. This child really is a beautiful creation made in the image of God, and he impacted my life today.

I have loved all the ministries this week in Nepal. Getting to reach so many children and women has been such a blessing. So, here is what’s supposed to happen for the rest of our time in Nepal. We have a nice 12 hour bus ride tonight to get to a different city to witness to an unreached people group there. Then next week we begin our 4 day trek though the mountains to another unreached people group. These next two weeks will be spiritually and physically exhausting, so I would really appreciate extra prayer for the end of Nepal. It will be so good, and I can’t wait to see how the Lord will move. In saying this, I probably won’t have a chance to post a blog until after the two weeks of ministry is over. I will try my hardest to post after the first trip, but that might be a little too much. Thank you for your patience in that. I can’t wait to share all the good news in my next blog!

Once again, than you for your love and support! It really has been such a blessing, and I love Nepal! Enjoy some pictures and thank you for all the prayers as well! Until next time; God bless!
