When deciding to go on the World Race, I hated the term being “called to do xyz.” I didn’t understand that God can speak to you so clearly. Over the past seven months my mind has been blown away by the Lord!! He has evidently spoken to me in so many different ways-but one constant is flowers. People have gotten visions of different flowers for me and I have slowly but surely become a ‘flower gal.’ There are so many different things God has taught me simply through flowers-but I will tell you this-as beautiful as flowers are. As intricate has God has made them. We are EVEN MORE beautiful and EVEN MORE intricately made. God cares for us SO MUCH MORE than flowers, and He takes care of them~so we are taken care of!! We are made in His freakin’ image!! I see the world as a garden of flowers~each chosen, each loved, each with a specific purpose.
So, I got a tattoo of flowers on my back as a reminder and a declaration of the Lord’s voice in my life. He’s always talking to you, you just have to take the time to listen.
Go pick a flower today, put it in your hair & take a moment and listen to Jesus-it’ll be the best thing you’ve done all week.
