this year God has been taking be on a journey with flowers
and this is what I have concluded
I never really loved flowers
I didn’t hate them, but I didn’t appreciate them for their beauty
once I became friends with some avid flower pickers
I started to take a second look-or ‘stop and smell (or pick) the roses’
flowers are so beautiful
so unique
so intricate
and God takes care of them
they have no insecurities
no fears
they aren’t human, I know
but roll with me
God made so many different kinds of flowers
for us to admire His beauty
all colors
shapes
sizes
kind of like how God made all different kinds of people
colors
shapes
sizes
personalities
nationalities
characteristics
unique
but God knows our entire lives
He created us in the beginning
He loves the flowers
enough to make them
water them
and to show his beloved sons and daughters all over the planet
how much more does he love you and I?
in Matthew 6, it explains
God takes care of
the birds in the sky
lilies in the fields
& grass in the fields
don’t you think he would do so much more to take care of a treasure like you?
so, don’t you worry your pretty little head.
God has you in the palm of his hand.
you are a flower and God picked you to be in His garden.
bask in that.
