Viile Tecii, Romania
Well, we are now in month 10 and country 10, and we are only six weeks away from being done! My team and I are starting to have mixed emotions about the end, and we know it will be here before we know it. We are exhausted from the crazy lifestyle we have been living over the past 9 months and our bodies are really starting to feel it, but we are also sad to think about leaving it all behind. Thankfully, we are all very excited about our ministry for these last six weeks and the love for our ministry and the people we are serving will give us a second wind for the last part of this trip!

My team and a few other teams are going to be spending the next 3 weeks in a small Gypsy village called Viile Tecii in Romania (I still have no idea how to pronounce it). We arrived here two days ago and we absolutely love it! It is a beautiful village filled with caring and beautiful people. My team and I are living with a Gypsy pastor and his family, and they have already been a huge blessing to us by instantly making us a part of their family. They are just the blessing we needed to continue on with this trip.

It seems that ministry here is going to take a little bit of a slower pace and we are all thankful for that. We will be spending most of our time just going into homes and serving the people. Today a bunch of girls have gone into some homes of elderly women and are spending the day cleaning for them and doing yard work. Yesterday we had a fun day just picking up a yard and preparing it for a big Easter service that we will be holding outside. We will also be visiting orphanages, teaching English and Bible and planning some fun events for the kids in the village. Overall, it should be a fun couple of weeks and I will fill you in more on our ministry as we go.

Finally, I still want to fill you in about our time in Malawi. I know I have been bad about writing blogs this past month and I’m sorry. My team and I did make it to Malawi last month and my hope is to fill you in on what we did by the end of the week. I’m excited about our work and ministry, but I’m also finding myself more and more exhausted as the trip goes on… both physically and mentally. My hope is to finish this trip strong while continuing to keep you all actively involved and informed in where we are and what we are doing. Please just continue to pray for us because months 9 and 10 are proving to be very difficult months on us.
