It’s finally here! A year of planning
and preparing and I’m finally on my way. This past week has been filled
with so many mixed emotions. All my friends and family mean the world to
me, and it was so hard to say goodbye.
The hardest part was saying goodbye to the
family I was a nanny for this past year. Amy and I shed a few tears
together as we said goodbye, but the real tears started while I was driving
home. I have been with the triples since they came home from the hospital
and now they are 11 months old! The worst part about saying goodbye is
knowing that they will not remember me when I get back… but I have been very
blessed to have had the opportunity to get to know the Higby family. They are now family to me! 
I don’t have too much to write about yet,
but I just wanted to say thank you to everyone for their love, support, prayers
and encouragement as I prepared for this trip. It’s crazy how much I’m
going to miss everyone!
