Every year nearly 2 million people travel to Pattaya as sex

Here is a glimpse at what it was like to walk the streets of
Pattaya at night. In the Thai
culture, it is customary for the girls to take care of their parents later in
life. Poor families from all different
parts of the country send their daughters to Pattaya and Bangkok to find jobs. It is also not uncommon
for families to send their young daughters to these cities for work as well.
Unfortunately, the only way for these girls to make money is to work in the
bars and prostitute themselves. Sex
tourism is outrageous in Thailand! The majority of tourists coming into the
country are unaccompanied western males. Most business tours also include a stop at the bars!
Young girls from all over the world are also hidden behind many walls and bars in this city. Human trafficking is alive and well and away from the public eye, but not hard to find. The more desensitized we become to the violence of prostitution, the deeper the evil goes.
