I’m so sorry it has taken me so long to get a bio up. I’m still trying to figure out how to do
this whole blog thing. I’ll start with a simple introduction. My name is
Lindsay Stahl , I’m 23 years old, and I’m from the beautiful state of New
Jersey… don’t laugh, it really is beautiful! I’m currently a nanny for
5 fun and energetic kids… Zoe (5), Ty (4), Cole(6 months), Eli (6 months),
and Ava (6months). Yes, they are triplets, and I will miss all five of
them when I’m gone!

I’ve been a Christian for as long as I can remember. I grew up in a
Christian home and I have always had a strong faith in God. My mom said she
prayed with me when I was 3 years old, and ever since then I haven’t stopped
wanting to know more about God. I’ve had my ups and downs in my walk with
God, but I couldn’t imagine my life without my faith and my Savior. It’s not my
crutch to get me through life, but my blessing that I don’t deserve. I’ve
been blessed with a good home, a good family, and so much more. I’ve often wondered
why some people have so much and others have so little, but the answer is
simple. Blessings from God were never
meant to be kept for ourselves, but are given to us so that we might go out and
bless others. Now I want to bless
others just like I’ve been blessed.

Last May I graduated from Moody Bible Institute in Chicago
with a degree in International Ministries and Bible. I have been passionate for
missions and ministry ever since I was 15 and went on my first trip to
Uganda. It’s amazing how God works! I signed up to go to Scotland,
but some how ended up on a plane to Uganda. All I can say is I cried on
the way over because I was scared and did not want to go, and I cried on the
way home because I did not want to leave.
I also learned that God is completely unpredictable. Every time I think I have everything figured
out God reveals to me what He wants me to do.
I’m finally at the point where I’m just giving up looking past
today. I’m just excited that God is
bigger than my dreams.

Some fun stuff about me! I love to dance, play soccer, hiking,
backpacking, traveling, and just about anything active. I’m big into country music, and I love to go
line dancing (yes, in Jersey). I can be
quiet at first, but I like to surround myself with outgoing people who draw me
out. I always enjoy a good adventure,
and I’m very excited for this trip! I
can’ wait to meet everyone!
