Mozambique Ministry in Pictures….

We were way out in the middle of nowhere this month, but it was
beautiful.  Sorry about the lack of blogs but I will do my best to get
you caught up during these next two days.  We will not have access that
often to internet while we are in Africa, but I will blog when we do
find it.

This past month we partnered with Him ministries in Mozambique.  We were located in the bush a little ways outside of  Maputo.   Our contacts were great and our ministry was amazing!

Everyone was put into groups of two or three and set up with a church plant out in the bush.  We spent our days teaching the church about the fundamentals of Christianity and also teaching them how to share their faith.  I worked with Lisa and Amy.

We also spent some time teaching the kids Bible stories.  They were too scared of us to answer any questions, but the parents were quick to answer for them!  They finally warmed up to us our last two days there.

They loved to dance during worship and we loved to dance with them!

On our last day the women dressed us up like Mozambican women.   They told us we were officially like them and we needed to stay.  It was hard to convince them that we loved them but we needed to leave.

Dancing and saying goodbye on our last day.

Pastor Fernando in the middle and the two elders on the outside.

The women had just readjusted my entire outfit. They were still laughing at me.

Our amazing translator, Solomon!

I will miss Mozambique and our small church outside of Maputo!
