So today is the last full day of training camp…bitter sweet for sure!
I now have my team…woohoo! Dan (our leader), Lynnsey (we share a name), Ryan (he's also from Louisiana), Aisha (she's Canadian), Ashley (she's like a beautiful mother), and Nathan (he's from England).

Yesterday we met our team…we already knew them really because our entire squad of 40 bonded on the first day of camp. It's been one incredible week that I'll blog about when I get home and process it all. 🙂
Our goal yesterday afternoon was to go out in the town and do the following:
- Make a memory with our team.
- Minister to people in the city
- Create a team name
- Have fun!
Here's how the afternoon played out:
Goal #1: Starbucks coffee and Aisha's first visit to Cracker Barrel…delicious treats!
Goal #2: We split into two groups: Dan & Ryan went into Wal Mart and met a female employee. The rest of us talked to Billy, a homeless guy outside of Wal-Mart. We were blessed by his Spirit…he has such a heart for God and really ministered to us. We were able to connect with him, pray with him, give to him, and bless his life. Incredible God story for sure!
Goal #3: Shadowfeet (that story will come later)
Goal # 4: Oh yea we did!
So all in all the first team outing was phenomenal and it's going to be a God-awesome year! 😀
