This is when we first arrived in Hungary almost three weeks ago. Lined up, waiting for the bus to Skesfarhevar.
Two pictures from the camp ground in Gyor, the second city we visited in Hungary. This was the GEORGOUS sunny day we had before the freezing monsoons came:) It rained (downpoured) pretty much 4 days straight after this. Burrrr. But we met an amazing Danish family who had their four daughters with them on BIKES riding through Europe for a year! They were my heros.
In Budapest: Left: Me and the eldest son, Carter, of the American Missionary family we are staying with. Right: With the Hungarian crew at the teen bible study Friday night.
Ralphie, Bambi, Nicole, Ash, Denise, Mike and Me on Castle Hill overlooking the Buda side of the Danube in Budapest. The following photos are all Budapest too…
This is a favorite of mine. It is 30 degrees here in Budapest and we did NOT pack for this kind of weather. So every time we go out we layer up so heavy and sinch our hoods so tight around our head that we have to move our entire bodies to look without the hood covering 1/2 our faces….like little kids in snowsuits. Weave and I try to document it because it’s hysterical.
Oh, by the way, I am wearing leggings under jeans with a short sleeve shirt, a long sleeve shirt, two heavy hoodies my rain jacket and a scarf. Weave is wearing a tank, a longsleeve shirt, two dresses (over leggings and her jeans) a hoodie her rain jacket and a scarf. Burr. No joke.
