Hi All!
While on this trip, I expect:
– To meet with the Lord every morning before setting out on the days journey
-To feel overwhelmed with sadness, compassion and HOPE all at the same time
-To encounter the largest, ugliest and most terrifying insects I will ever see! (ah!)
-To open up to my team mates and be more vulnerable with them than I have ever been with a group of people
-To make life-long connections with people on the team and on the field
-To have my heart broken again and again by the poverty and hoplessness we encounter
-To be 100% dependent on God, 100% of the time
-To cry a lot
– Feeling exhausted and under the weather at times
-Craving Mexican food and not being able to have it!!! ( California has spoiled me! )
-To see God work in me, and use me in ways I never thought possible
-To witness miracles!!!
-To have my life FOREVER changed and to be BLESSED by each and every experience I have
