Here are pics from our day at the ruins of Ephesus, in Turkey. This ancient city was where the apostle Paul spent three years. He wrote 1 Corinthians here, the book of Ephesians (to the church in Ephesus) and it accounts some of  his time here during his third missionary journey in the book of Acts.  Also, the apostle John is thought to have written his gospel here as well as the book of 1 John. Woah.

This is the theater the Ephesians rioted to after Pauls preaching against their worshiping the godess Artemis.
All six members of my team passionately preached a chapter of Ephesians to the growing crowd (of German and French tourists) while standing on the stage of this very Ampitheather.
I had chapter 3…it begins “For this reason I, Paul, the prisioner of Christ Jesus for the sake of you Gentiles-” It was epic. I had goose bumps.
