Around a week ago I moved into the Jaz house. It is a home with 35 girls with ages ranging from 11-20. Each of these girls have been abused or neglected in some way. Living with these women of God is a true blessing. Watching them grow and not just going in every other day to tell them about Jesus, but to actually live and do life with these women is life altering. Coming into an expierience like this you simply can not act like you know everything, and think that you will be able to save everyone, because you don’t, and you won’t. Humbling yourself is absolutely necessary. I am no better, we as Amercians are no better. Being prideful will get you no where. These girls are my friends, they go through the same struggles I did in highschool, and still go through.
Being here has widened my perspective immensly. The mistakes you have made are covered. There is redemption. Never feel like you are too far from God, like you have made too many mistakes for him to still love you. You are deeply loved. You are unconditionally loved. Unconditionally literally means not subject to any conditions. Wholehearted. Unqualified. Unreserved. There is absolutely nothing you can do to make Him love you any less. With that you can live in freedom. Again, thank you for all the prayers. I feel so blessed.
