So I am finally here. It’s been four days, and to say it has been easy and nothing but fun would be a lie. It’s been a hard but good four days. I love my squad, my team, and the people here. This culture is different then what I expected. These few days have been an adjustment that honestly I am still getting used to, and let me tell you jet lag is a real thing. Yesterday morning I woke up at 4 AM on my own, and didn’t go bed until 1 AM the next night, and woke up this morning at six. Tired is an understatement, but honestly I would not change a thing. Not many people can say that they have the opportunity to travel, and spread Gods word to all ends of the earth. Yesterday it especially became worth it when I met Janelle. A sweet ten year old girl who’s father died last March in car accident. Although this event has tragically effected Janelle and her family, she still chooses joy daily, and chooses to find that in Christ. She is an inspiration to me. The more I am here the more I realize I found my joy in people instead of looking for it in Christ. I want Him to be my first and last thought. Thank you for all the prayers.
