I can’t believe I am referencing a TV show starring Paris Hilton but team Luminous moving into our new home in a small gypsy town in Romania truly feels like living the simple life. All 6 of us are sharing one tiny bedroom, we draw our water from the well in the front yard, our bathroom consists of an outhouse with one of the most beautiful views I have ever seen and for meals—meat and potatoes—yikes! There are horse drawn carriages driving down the one road of our small town and cows, chicken and sheep everywhere. I have to wear a scarf to church to signify that I am married (wow—I am now a babushka from a story I used to read my 3rd graders!!) It is all truly amazing to experience such a simple life.

Our ministry this month in Romania (Villa Teccii for those who enjoy googling our locations) working with gypsies. Since I have only been here for 2 days now, I don’t have a lot of insight (that and our host family speaks little to no English) but what I do know is that God is moving in this place. Many people were ministered to last night in church after we walked the town Sunday morning singing praise songs inviting everyone to the night time service. People were saved, healed and there is a babtism time set for the 20th. God is at work and I am excited to see what He is up to here in Eastern Europe!

We are working with another World Race squad who just got done with a time in Ireland where they worked with a vineyard church and learned a lot about healing (after several of them were healed from foot and back problems including scoleosis). Read more about the healing that happened HERE.
Love you guys! Keep praying for us to finish the race strong and more in love with Jesus!!
