I
wanted to update you since our last heart to heart and tell you honestly
where we are at with support.
I
found this interesting article this week from a pastor for the Vineyard church
and his reaction to his time in Ukraine where we are focusing one of our three
initiatives:
“Perhaps
you’ve noticed much activity in our movement these past couple years addressing
the atrocity of Human Trafficking. Do you know how Vineyard awareness and
involvement began? Orphans! Over the course of time we began to find
that the Ukrainian orphans who were being dismissed from orphanages at age 16
became prey to sex traffickers.”

The
problems we are facing in this world are VERY real and we have a solution and
the heart to make a difference, but we need each other. We are moving into
our new apartment in the end of this week and are expectantly waiting for how
God is going to provide for us as we continue to walk out this life of extreme
faith.
letting us know that they are going to start supporting us monthly for the next
6 months (praise God!) and we have had SEVERAL others telling us how much they
hope that someone will give, but my question for you today is….is that “someone” you? We
are excited to see which 58 of you will respond to this call for partnership to
help us find long term solutions to help girls around the world. We still need….
29
people gave $10/ month
17
people gave $25/month
8
people gave $50/month
$100/month
We
know that money is tight but we also know that anyone can give $10 a month if
they willed it in their heart to give. That is LESS than take-out on a Friday
night. The REAL question to ask yourself is if you believe in the work that God
is doing in and through us to impact this World. If you do, then we ask you today to
respond. I will update you again in a week to let you know where we are at
and we ask you to pray alongside us for God’s great provision to shower down on us all so we can continue to bless those that truly need it (whether it be through time, prayer, encouragement, finances or resources). We work as a team!
